Dear Families,
Fourth grade will be taking two more field trips this school year. We appreciate the extra classroom donations that made so many fantastic field trips possible. We are in need of volunteers for both field trips.
April 20: Natural History Museum of Utah
Bus departs Spring Lane 9:15 and arrives back at Spring Lane 12:15 before lunch begins at school.
Chaperones: The museum recommends a 1:5 ratio for chaperones to students. 4th grade has about 100 students, so we could use up to 20 volunteers. If you have a background check through the district, you will be able to take your group of students on a tour through the museum. If you do not have a background check through Granite District, you are still welcome to volunteer, but you must remain with the classroom teacher, per district protocol.

May 2: Murray Nature Center
Bus: departs Spring Lane at 11:30 am, arrives back at Spring Lane at 3:30 pm (we'll eat lunch on the field trip.)
Chaperones: We could use up to 10 volunteers. You will not be responsible for your own group, but rather help supervise an entire class, along with the teacher and another chaperone.
